Step 1 — Choose what the code should do
Decide the code's job first. Common types include a website link, a Wi-Fi login, a vCard (contact card), an email, a phone number, an SMS, or a social profile. The QR code generator has a tab for each.
Step 2 — Enter your details
Type in the link or information. The preview updates live as you type, so you can see the code forming. Keep links short where possible — shorter data makes a simpler, easier-to-scan code.
Step 3 — Style and download
Optionally set your colours, choose a dot style, and add a logo. Keep strong contrast (dark code on a light background) so scanners lock on fast. Then download a PNG for screens, an SVG for print at any size, or a PDF for a ready-to-print sheet.
Tips for a code that always scans
- Keep a clear "quiet zone" (empty margin) around the code — do not crowd it with text.
- Do not invert the colours; most scanners expect a dark pattern on a light background.
- Test the printed code with two or three phones before mass-printing.
- If you add a logo, raise error correction to High (the tool does this for you).
