Mardi Himal Trek is newly opened trekking route offers wilderness and off-terrain experience with well paved trekking route opened since 2012. It has now gained its popularity among both domestic and international visitors as an alternate trekking destination to experience the mesmerizing beauty of majestic mountains; Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Mardi Himal. The ever sparkling river, good paddy field and rhododendron, oak and bamboo forest along the trail is similar to annapurna base camp trek. The breathtaking views and rich and diverse culture and nature along the trekking route of Mardi Himal Trek is tempting enough to explore.
This trek will take you through various routes, including Aastam, Kande, Australian Camp, Forest Camp, Low Camp, High Camp, Badal Danda, Kalimati, Pothana, Lwang, and Lumre. The exact route and duration of the trek depends on your preference. The journey starts from Pokhara, takes a short drive to Phedi, and starts hiking toward Pothana and walking through the coolness of the forest along the way and reaching Thulo-Kharka, popularly known as Australian base camp, witnessing the graceful view of Annapurna mountain range and fantastic sunrise and sunset. We spend the night there to begin hiking to our destination, Upper Viewpoint, via the high camp passing forest camp.

Day 3: Australian Camp to Forest Camp

Day 4: Forest Camp to Low Camp
